At Walk to Independence, our mission is to provide expert guidance, advocacy, training, and respite care services to support individuals of all ages with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), ensuring they receive the support and opportunities they deserve.
We are dedicated to:
Empowering Individuals & Families – Equipping people with SEND, along with their families and caregivers, with the knowledge and confidence to navigate the SEND system and secure the right support.
Supporting Schools, Workplaces & Professionals – Delivering high-quality training and compliance audits to create truly inclusive learning and working environments.
Advocating for Change – Ensuring every individual’s voice is heard and their rights are upheld in education, employment, and daily life.
Providing Respite Care – Offering safe, engaging, and supportive respite care services to give individuals with SEND meaningful experiences while their caregivers take a well-deserved break.
Through compassion, expertise, and collaboration, we work to remove barriers, foster inclusion, and create positive, lasting change for individuals with SEND, their families, and the professionals who support them.

Through our consultancy, we aim to:
